High-output well online at South Pars Phase 13 development offshore Iran

The well adds 60 MMcf/d through the existing production facilities.

Pars Oil & Gas has brought onstream a new high-productivity well at the Phase 13 development of the South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf.

This has increased production by 60 MMcf/d, Shana news agency reported Feb. 14.

Although drilling and completion work on the well finished three weeks ago, startup was held to align with peak energy consumption, following official authorization.
